In order to have the best possible tanning session, please follow these tips:
  • If planning on getting a manicure, pedicure, massage or facial, make sure you do these prior to getting your airbrush tan.
  • Waxing or shaving should be done 24 hours prior to your appointment to reduce sensitivity and increase the evenness of your tan.
  • Three days prior to your tan, moisturize your skin very well.  You can apply a light lotion up to 3 hours before your tan if desired.
  • Exfoliate your skin with a non oil-based exfoliant the night prior to your session to remove dead skin cells for smooth skin and even tanning results.  Pay extra attention to elbows, knees, feet, and hands, and you can use soft grade exfoliant gloves as well as your non oil-based exfoliant.
  • DO NOT apply perfume, deodorant or oils on the day of your appointment, it can interfere with the result of your tan.
  • Wear dark, loose clothing due to the fact that the bronzer will transfer onto your clothes and sheets (wool, nylon and silk are not recommended).

Post-Glo Care:
Once you have your perfect tan, it's important for you to look great and feel beautiful and enjoy your tan as long as possible. Please be sure to follow these Post-Glo guidelines to insure beautiful and lasting results.
  • 2 hours after your appointment, gently wash your hands up to the wrists (the tanning solution develops more quickly on your hands, washing them will enhance a natural look).
  • Avoid activities with water until you shower, if you spill anything on your tan, pat to dry do not rub.
  • Wait at least 8 hours before you shower, recommended overnight for best results. When drying, pat your skin dry -- do not rub with the towel.
  • Shower before exercising, but it is important to wait at least 8 hours before doing so.
  • Moisturize, Moisturize, Moisturize but not until you have showered, after showering always keep skin moisturized it will prolong your tan and it will also allow your tan to fade more evenly as it starts to wear off.
  • Avoid long, hot showers or baths while having your tan as these speed up exfoliation and reduce the length of your tan.
  • Avoid using any products with alcohol, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide.  Also avoid using Dove and Ivory soap as these products will reduce the length of your tan and can cause blotchiness.
  • WEAR SUNSCREEN...Your airbrush tan does not provide any UV protection.
